For over 20 years, Mauricio Gonzalez de la Fuente has lead marketing, product and business group teams at Microsoft. Over the years, his business cards have included titles such as Education Manager for Latin America subsidiaries, Desktop Applications Group Product Marketing Manager; Entrepreneur in Residence leading product planning and the incubation of a sensor based business; Director of Consumer and Small Business Marketing and System Builder Partner Marketing; Acting General Manager for the Windows Business Group in the US as the performance scorecard and P&L owner of our $1.5B Windows business. Mauricio lead Consumer Competitive Strategy, a cross-company role responsible for competitive analysis, and driving business interventions totaling over $100M in marketing, co-marketing, partner channel and partner strategy investments exceeding scorecard metrics.
In his last role at Microsoft, as the Global General Manager responsible for Customer Lifecycle Management, he led customer acquisition and end-to-end customer engagement with Microsoft’s 130M SMB customers while enhancing scale through our partner ecosystem.
