Mexipollock is both a pseudonym and a permission slip.

Born from the tension between structure and spontaneity, Mexipollock is the name I give to the part of me that refuses to be constrained by perfectionism, self-consciousness, or expectation. As an artist who tends toward introspection and control, I created Mexipollock to be the vessel through which I could release — unfiltered, unpolished, and sometimes unreasonable.

The name itself is part of the art: a collision of cultures, identities, and artistic reference points. It hints at Pollock’s chaotic freedom, but with a tongue-in-cheek twist that grounds it in my own hybrid heritage and humor. Under this name, I explore sound, color, and gesture without apology or overthinking — as if nobody is watching, because that’s when the truth sneaks out.

Through music, visual art, and improvisational experiments, I use Mexipollock to challenge my own limits and invite others to do the same — to embrace the mess, the moment, and the beauty of being just a little out of control.
